RECIPE NOTE:
Ragi is actually a flour that is made out of Ragi grain. It is very good source of protien.It is actually a FINGER MILLET variety.
Ragi can be used in cakes, puddings, idly dosa batter and much more.It is cooling agent and it can be consumed during summer.
In Tamilnadu, a recipe called RAGI KOOZH is very famous and it is the holy diety food of Goddesses.Its a kind of flour that is easily available and also low in price but a very healthy stuff.
I usually like to consume ragi for my BREAKFAST as MALT.
Usually BUTTERMILK is added to this ragi flour. But in this recipe i have used MILK.
Its a completly healthy version as i have used BROWN SUGAR/NATTU SAKKARAI in it.
Instead of brown sugar, JAGGERY can also be used.
This is the best drink for people who are in a diet, as it contains the required protein that is required.

BRIEF RECIPE:
IN A PAN - ADD IN WATER - RAGI FLOUR PASTE - SALT-BOIL-THICKENS- ADD MILK- JAGGERY/BROWN SUGAR-CARDAMOM POWDER.
INGREDIENTS NEEDED:
- RAGI FLOUR -3 tbspn
- WATER- 2 cups
- SALT- a pinch
- JAGGERY/BROWN SUGAR- 4 tbspn
- MILK- 1 cup
- CARDAMOM POWDER- a pinch
DETAILED RECIPE:
- In a pan, Add in the water and bring it to a boil.Add a pinch of salt to it.
- Meanwhile, add in 1 tbspn of water in a bowl add in the ragi flour to it and make it a paste.
- Now to the boiling water, add in the RAGI FLOUR paste and keep stirring.
- The RAGI FLOUR mixed with the boiling water starts thickening.
- At this stage add in the brown sugar and the cardamom powder to it and mix well.
- Now put off the stove and add the milk and give it a good mix.
- Serve it HOT.
- A healthy FEAST FOR YOUR TUMMY is ready to have.
NOTE:
